ALIBIS -- and the CHANGES

INFORMATION about the alibis. (This could be a messy work area.)

ALIBI ONE: HOLIDAY INN

ALIBI TWO: ASLEEP ON THE BEACH

ALIBI THREE: AWAKE AT THE BEACH

ALIBI FOUR: THE HOME

ANOTHER ALIBI:
"On 6-13 the lawyer of suspect ABRAHAM JONES, CHRIS LeJUEZ stated the following:"

Two suspects:

Joran van der Sloot and Abraham Jones were/are detained in the same cellblock at the police department in Noord. It is here that a crying suspect, Joran van der Sloot supposedly commented to another suspect, Abraham Jones the following:He is very preoccupied because he thinks that the other two Surinamese suspects might be lying and blaming him for the disappearance of Natalee Holloway. His new story is that they (with they, I mean the two other suspects) dropped him off at his home, with Natalee Holloway still in the car, further he and Natalee exchanged e-mail address and that was the last time he saw her.He also added that the story that he told the officials was orchestrated at his home, near the pool.

On 7-12 LEJUEZ stated that the, supposed,

crying and confession of Primary Suspect J. SLOOT on 6-11 was really just Suspect J, SLOOT crying because Primary
Suspect J. SLOOT had,

somehow, learned on 6-11 that the KALPOE’s were trying to implicate Primary Suspect J. SLOOT. LEJUEZ further stated that this information came from his client, Suspect A. JONES.

Aruban police search home of Dutch teen

By Peter Prengaman, Associated Press Writer June 15,
2005

(…)Wednesday's search of the van der Sloot home lasted about four hours. Two white-uniformed investigators from Holland carried suitcases into the one-story, yellow-beige home, which includes an attached apartment where the young man lives. They later returned the suitcases to their white, unmarked car.

Investigators also emerged from the house carrying two white plastic garbage bags full of unidentified items. A German Shepherd also sniffed around the property outside the capital, Oranjestad.

Authorities towed a blue sport utility vehicle and a red Jeep away from the house, which is surrounded by a low stone wall and fronted by an expanse of trees and cacti.

(…)Janssen, who also went into the house, declined to comment as investigators wrapped up their search at about 4 p.m. Six police officers guarded the entrance to the property.

"We are just looking for evidence at the house but have nothing yet," police spokesman Edwin Comemencia said during the search.

ARIKOK NATIONAL PARK AREA:

On 7-17 an ARUBAN “Arikok National Park” ranger, MARIO RASMIJN, while collecting trash discovered what appeared to be a 5” piece of duct tape with blonde hairs adhered to the tape. It is reported there are 4 blonde hairs, each about 6” to 1’ long. The duct tape with hairs was discovered at 11:45 am on the north-central shoreline area of “Boca Tortuga” (near the “Natural Pool” tourist attraction) or “conchi” called "Cura di Tortuga." The “Cura di Tortuga” is a secret, hidden pool on the windward north-central coast surrounded by rocks. The duct tape and its blonde hairs was found in a cave that had access to the ocean. The police also searched several other caves in the immediate area, including “Turtle Cave.” The blonde hairs and duct tape will be sent to Holland for forensic DNA, fingerprints, and other testing (estimated 2 days to 2 weeks for results)

ARUBAN police Commissioner STRATEN declined to provide further details, saying only that it was "part of the investigation." Interestingly, the discovery site is less than 1 mile from the 6’ long, and 4’ deep, very suspicious dug out hole excavated by “Texas EquuSearch” and 2 Aruban policemen on 7-12.

(TIM MILLER refers to the excavated site as a “temporary grave”) ((recall that during the investigation that some fishermen at the “Marriott Hotel” beach area that Primary Suspect J. SLOOT has claimed he was the last known person to be with NATALEE at reported to the police that their duct tape and other items had been stolen from the fishermen's huts…. Also recall that on 6-14 police recovered duct tape on the “Marriott Hotel“ beach area))

(…)“CNN” reported 7-18 that ARUBAN authorities and the F.B.I. will both be conducting individual DNA forensic tests on the long blonde hairs found at “Boca Tortuga” on 7-17.

On 7-18 TIEL also said he had been told that there are blonde hairs and some slightly darker hairs stuck to the duct tape.

On 7-20 KOSINSKI reported that the piece of duct tape is now being described by authorities as a wadded-up, semi-“ball” of duct tape, and there are many, many more than just 4 long blonde hairs in it. “NBC” reported there are about a dozen hairs.

On 7-21 RASMIJN found more duct tape in the same area. This duct tape had a red, paint-like substance on it.

On 7-23 “MSNBC” reported that there have been many more than 2 pieces of duct tape found in the same area, but that most of the additional pieces probably have no evidentiary value, and may not be forensically tested.

(…)On 7-29 “CBS” reported, “Strands of blonde hair found attached to duct tape in Aruba earlier this month didn't come from missing Alabama teen Natalee Holloway, the FBI says. The hair was subjected to genetic testing at the FBI crime lab in Quantico, Va.”

Hat tip: Michelle Simonsen at MICHELLE SAYS SO!

Last night on Fox, The Big Story Fox Oct. 2, 2005 Beth Holloway Twitty discusses the fact that it is old news to her and the family that her daughter Natalee Holloway went to Joran Van der Sloot’s house the night of May 30.

Julie: One of the new things that Joran was telling Christina that the whole story he told investigators was not true. Apparently he took Natalee to his home, then to the HI, then to the beach where he supposedly had sex with her. This is new information, this is huge. What are investigators doing about this have you been
in contact with them?

Beth: The sad part about this is a lot of this is not new. Police have known since the beginning that Joran took my daughter to his home. They have known that, they had statements as early as June 13th. There has been no secret about this.

Statement From the Aruba Prosecutor's Office regarding Natalee Holloway Investigation

Released 10/7/05.

(...)In the prosecution of criminal acts, the Public Prosecutor’s Office operates completely independent from the Minister of Justice and the Government of Aruba. The Public Prosecutor’s Office does not have to justify its actions with regards to the prosecution of criminal acts to the Minister of Justice or the Government of Aruba. All the accounting that the Public Prosecutor’s Office has to do, will be done before the Common Court of Justice of the Netherlands Antilles and Aruba. Only the Common Court of Justice judges if the Public Prosecutor’s Office has done its work, the persecution of criminal acts, correctly. If that’s not the case, the Common Court of Justice can give the Public Prosecutor’s Office the necessary instructions. The Minister of Justice and the Government of Aruba do not have a say in this process. They cannot give instructions to the Public Prosecutor’s Office to prosecute somebody or to start a criminal investigation.

If a concerned party in a criminal case, for example somebody who has filed a complaint with the police, is of the opinion that the investigation is not being done or not being done in a reasonable amount of time, this person can file a complaint with the Common Court of Justice of the Netherlands Antilles and Aruba.

Jossy
Mansur - DIARIO Aruba

(…)The principal suspects is Dutch, the lead investigator was Dutch,
the prosecutor is Dutch and the five judges involved are Dutch. If you think
about it, an attempted boycott against Aruba is unjust, because it is
misdirected and won’t achieve the desired results.

(…)Because of
that America is questioning so severely the handing down of justice in Aruba,
because things have happened which make no sense, have no justification and
can’t be explained legally nor rationally.

Commentary:

Yes, the suspects, the investigator, the prosecutor, and the judges are Dutch; but, the “crime” happened on Aruba, the subsequent events occurred on Aruba, and the LE is Aruban Law Enforcement. This is an Aruban problem. Arubans were aware of the peril of tourists—they warned some of the tourists.

Arubans know more than they are saying. You can’t blame it on the Dutch if you stand by and let it all happen. This isn’t going to blow over. It isn’t going away.

It’s a call for Clean Up. Aruba can not afford to ignore it. You need to find the girl and return her to her parents.

ORANJESTAD — Edwin Tromp will become Arubabank’s new director. This bank recently said farewell to director Fons Simon, who obtained a position as head of the RBTT-Bank for Aruba and the Netherlands Antilles.

Tromp’s career in the world of banking began at Citibank, which later became First National Bank of Aruba, and was then taken over by the Royal Bank of Trinidad & Tobago RBTT. It is still not know when Tromp will start working at Arubabank.

Authorities believe the testimony will support allegations that the suspect, Joran van der Sloot, has given contradictory statements about Holloway's disappearance two

WERNEN told JUG’s friends that the day before (5-31), the headmaster had spoken directly to Main Suspect J. SLOOT and Current Suspect P. SLOOT in the headmaster’s office and that the headmaster told Main Suspect J. SLOOT, “Joran, you need to come clean on what happened.” JUG said that WERNEN told his friends that Main Suspect J. SLOOT said that he and NATALEE engaged in some form of sex, and, he also said that NATALEE may have hit her head while swimming that night. The headmaster also told the friends that Main Suspect J. SLOOT and Current Suspect P. SLOOT told WERNENthat the reason that Current Suspect D. KALPOE’s car could not be seen in the “Holiday Inn” security camera video tapes around 2:00 AM on 5-30 is that “there was a break in the tape.” ((obviously, yet another lie conspiratorially concocted by the Suspects SLOOT’s and KALPOE’s before the early morning of 5-31 because the Suspects never viewed the “Holiday Inn” security cameras recorded video)) JUG also said that the headmaster has been interviewed by the ARUBA police.

Arlene Ellis-Schipper, a lawyer on the island, said their release indicated police no longer have enough evidence to keep the Kalpoes in custody. But that doesn't mean they are ruled out as suspects, she said.

Prosecutors have said that Van Der Sloot and the Kalpoes made statements "that are not sustained by other investigative results and/or witness statements."

Phone conversations, text messages and computer chat records cast suspicion on them, prosecutors said.

The Kalpoes told police they left Holloway unharmed at a beach near a Marriott hotel.

David Kock, Satish Kalpoe's attorney, told CNN that two fishermen told investigators they didn't see a couple matching the descriptions of Holloway and Van Der Sloot at the beach the night she disappeared.

But the lawyer quoted the couple as saying they did see a white Suzuki vehicle on the beach.

"That is the only thing that they saw that was abnormal for that day," the lawyer said.

Police were seen moving two vehicles from the Van Der Sloot home last month, including a white Suzuki.

What has caught my attention most is the timeline we have pieced together. From Satish's lawyer the other night on the show, we learned that someone was on the Internet at the Kalpoe residence from 2 a.m. to 3 a.m. Why did that person get off the Internet at 3 a.m.? Note that 3 a.m. is the exact time that Joran van der Sloot's second call went to Deepak's cell phone (the first was 2:40
a.m.)

A HOLE TOWARD MOUNTAIN?

RUMOR OR FACT?

Search crews received a tip that there was a recently dug hole. Exact location of the hole is not known at this time.

(Initial impression was it was in an area closer to the mountain than general search areas of the beaches closer to the hotels.)

A piece of tape was found by a Park Employee--close to the shore, near the mountain. The tape was still sticky, indicating that it was recently used--possibly never wet.

A dead man was found in an Aruban cemetery. His throat had been slit; partial decapitation. Initial rumors were that the man had acquired a Columbian Neck Tie.

The man's wife was arrested for the murder.

WHY NOT LOOKING FOR DEEPAK?

A poster on another website questioned why H/T were not looking for Deepak's residence.

Deepak Kalpoe = DK
Holloway/Twitty = H/T

The answer may be simple. They didn't know about Deepak until the two were together at VDS residence. Much of the early hours are looking for Dutch student, with a particular car.

One MB student saw NH getting into a car, probably with JVDS. Some students knew his name was Joran. H/T followed the trail because of the gambling information. H/T might not have known Deepak was involved before JVDS, DK, and the car, were together that first night.

If H/T didn't know about Deepak, and were only searching for Joran, they would not have been looking for Deepak's home.

LIE # 1--EXCHANGE STUDENT?

.
JVDS = Joran Van Der Sloot

JVDS as an "exchange student from Holland staying at the Holiday Inn" has been rumored. He was from Holland, and he was a student; but, he wasn't staying at the Holiday Inn and he wasn't an exchange student.

Many believe this is just "boys will be boys," a typical invention to make yourself look better--more impressive. Whether or not it's harmful or humorous would depend upon the subsequent events and the intent. We can guess, and might be wrong.

If John (a pedophile) were to email a child and state that he (John) is 13 years old, you can strongly suspect the intent is not good. The subsequent actions of John would determine the true intent. (Don't get excited, it's just an example.)

Whatever the purpose, whatever the words used, the determination of harmful or humorous (innocent) hinges on what comes next. Whatever you wish to call it, we have: LIE #1.

****STARTING OVER****

It has been months since I blogged here. Many things have happened in the world and in ordinary life. Although I enrolled in the "blogging adiction program," it didn't work and here I am, again.

This time, I'm attempting to find some truth concerning the Natalee Holloway case. Can a person on the Net solve the case of a missing young women? I wouldn't believe that, but I would believe that bloggers are working at it. I would believe that someone could develop information on a rumor to prove or disprove the rumor.

Someone, somewhere, may contribute an idea which works. This blog may be able to sort through the ideas and help straighten out the mess, but I doubt that it will solve the mystery. The purpose is to be helpful.

And so, the Blog is starting over. Looking at the Holloway case is the next phase of blogging for me.

Rule #1: Everything is offered IMHO.

Rule #2: Truth is the ultimate objective. Opinions may change from day to day.
